D1: Take train No.T27 from Beijing West Railway Station at 21:30 to Lhasa. (45h8m)

D2: On the way.
D3: Arrive in Lhasa at 18:38. Guide pick you up at the railway station and take you to the hotel. live in Lhasa.

D4: Place & Transport: Lhasa
Today's Activities:PotalaPalace, Jokhang Temple, Barkhore Street
Tour starts from the religious Potala Palace built in the 7th century by the famous Tibetan king-Songtzen Gampo. The present one was built by the 5th Dalai Lama in the 17th century. It became known as the "Winter Palace" by the 1750, when the 7th Dalai Lama built the Norbulingka Park as his summer residence. After lunch, you will visit Jokhang Temple, situated in the old section of Lhasa. King Songtzen Gampo built this temple in the mid-7th century A.D. Now it is the most sacred place in Tibet. Pilgrims come here to pay homage from all over Tibet. Visit Barkhore Street in the evening.

D5: Place & Transport: Lhasa-Bayi Town
Today's Activities: Lake Draksum-tso
After breakfast, move to Nyingchi. On the way you will cross over MilaPass, enjoy the scenery along the Niyang River. In the afternoon,move to visit LakeDraksum-tso, also known as Lake Basum-tso. The lake and its surrounding views are beautiful and the site is also connected to the semi-mythical ruler of the Kham region and Guru Rinpoche. Take a ferry ride off the southern shore of the lake to visit the Tsodzong Monatery, most probably the highest attraction of this site. live in Bayi Town.

D6:The Rawo-tso, Ranwu Lake in Chinese is a perfect blending of the Swiss Alps snow peaks and glaciers and the streams in Jiuzaigou (a pretty town in central China). The Ranwu Lake, the largest in southeast of Tibet, is in the Village of Ran about 130 km from Pomi. The lake, 3,800 meters above the sea level, has a water area of 22 square kilometers. On the bus ride from the Pasho, Chamdo down the Sichuan-Tibet Highway 318, you will see a corner of the lake. This is the most dangerous highway in China.

D7: The crest of Midui Glacier is 6385 meters above sea level. The lowest part is 2900 meters high. It looks like two abreast chairs that set together. It is one of the lowest maritime glaciers among those in the same latitude as well as a first class wonder in the world. In 2005’s “beauty contest”, the Magazine of China National Geography graded it as one of the most attractive glaciers. The Glacier has a peculiar shape and a graceful arc. There are grand snow-capped mountains and flocks of yaks and sheep, Tibetan houses of primitive styles around. Such wild animals as argals, monkeys and so on often haunt around the glacier

D8: Place & Transport: Bayi-Lhasa
Today's Activities: Ancient Cypress Forests
Drive to visit Ancient Cypress Forests and also you will have a chance to see Lulang Forest far away from Lulang Sightseeing Plat, in the afternoon drive back to Lhasa. Live in Lhasa.

D9: Place & Transport: Lhasa- Namtso Lake- Lhasa
Today'sActivities: NamtsoLake-Yangpachen-Lhasa                
You will have a chance to see Nyenchen Thanglha snow mountain ranges, and pass the Nagela. Namtso Lake is the sky lake which is one of the three holy lakes in Tibet; also the highest salt lake.You can do a little hiking around. On the way back, you can have hot-spring at Yangbachen if you like (Fee on your own).  

D10: Place & Transport: Lhasa- Gyantse- Shigatse
Today's Activities: Yamdrok-tso Lake, Pelkor Chode Monastery
Drive to Gyantse after breakfast. On the way, dazzling Yamdrok-tso Lake can be seen from the summit of the Kamba-la pass(4794m). Yamdrok is one of Three Holy Lake in Tibet. When you arrive at Gyantse, visit Pelkor Chode Monastery. The Monastery is founded in 1418, notable for its superb Kumbum Chode(10,000 Images Stupa). Later move to Shigatse. Live in Shigatse

D11: Place & Transport: Shigatse—Rongphu
Today's Activities: Rongphu Monastery
Early in the morning start driving to Rongphu via Shegar, some parts of the road is with constructions. On the way you will cross over Gyatsola Pass at 5,220m, which is the highest enroute, and from the pass you will see the Himalaya mountain ranges in a clear day. Rongphu is the highest monastery in Tibet, still a good point to see Mt.Everst. (ovenight at a guesthouse)

D12: Place & Transport: Rongphu—Shigatse
Today's Activities: Everest Base Camp
 In the morning, start trekking from Rongphu to E.B.C, it takes about 2 hours. Or you can take animal carriage.  Later in the afternoon, return back to Shigatse.

D13: Place & Transport: Shigaste- Lhasa
Today's Activities: Tashilunpo Monastery
Morning visit the Bachen Lama Set - Tashilunpo Monastery, which was Built in1447 by the first Dalai Lama. Afternoon drive back to Lhasa along Yarlong Tsangpo river by the Nepal friendship road.  Live in Lhasa.

D14: Place & Transport: Lhasa
Today's Activities: End the trip. Train No.T28, 08:30 from Lhasa to Beijing.

 

D15: On the way.
D16: Arriving in Beijing at 07:34.
